Addictions Counselor

The Ranch is looking for a part-time addictions counselor to join their clinical team. The Ranch is a men’s residential substance abuse program that also offers intensive outpatient services. Under the supervision of the clinical supervisor, the addictions counselor is responsible for completing intake assessments, obtaining insurance authorizations, developing individualized treatment plans, facilitating individual, family, and group therapy, providing case management, and coordinating discharge planning.

Requirements:

• Must be able to work day and evening shifts (until 7:45p) during the week to facilitate 3-hour intensive outpatient groups.
• Ability to complete all assigned tasks and clinical documentation requirements in a timely manner as specified by the program.
• Knowledge of diagnostic criteria for substance use disorders in line with DSM V and ASAM PPC-II, therapeutic intervention techniques, and substance abuse treatment modalities.

Must already possess active credentials in good standing as a CAC-AD, CSC-AD, or Alcohol and Drug Trainee as approved by the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors. Credentials will be checked. If interested, please email a resume to Info@RanchMD.org

House Manager

The Ranch is looking for a Full-Time House Manager.  The House Manager supervises the delivery of services to patients living at The Ranch.  Implements policies, procedures, operational activities to ensure the effective functioning of The Ranch according to licensing regulations.  Trains supervise and evaluate Direct Care staff.  24-hour on-call availability and responsibility are required.

 

Requirements

Candidate must possess a High School Diploma or equivalency, five years’ experience working with adults with substance abuse issues and with at least two years’ experience supervising others.  A college degree can be in place of the experience.  If interested, please email a resume to Info@RanchMD.org.

Direct Care Staff

The Ranch has openings for motivated individuals who work well independently and as a team member in our drug and alcohol treatment facility.  We are looking for Direct Care Staff for part-time positions that have the potential to turn into full-time positions.  Duties include supervising and transporting adult male clients, maintaining daily records, overseeing living area, and other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:
