  • Can I smoke / vape?

    Yes, in designated areas only

  • Can I see my family / supports?

    Yes, we have visiting on weekends and encourage involvement of your support system in your recovery.

  • Can I have my car?

    Yes, after successful completion of your orientation period.

  • Can I work?

    Yes, upon successful completion of your orientation period and with the permission of your treatment team. All work must be “above boards,” (i.e., no “under the table” employment).

  • Can I take my medications?

    Can I take my medications? Yes, we support medication assisted treatment (MAT).

  • Can I take methadone?

    No. We encourage use of Suboxone/buprenorphine.

  • Can I use my existing healthcare providers?

    Yes, but we request you sign a release so that our team can coordinate your care with them.

  • Can I leave campus?

    Yes, following successful completion of your orientation period, you are permitted to request off-campus passes.

  • Can I have my cell phone / laptop?

    Yes, absolutely, just be mindful of our “lights out” policy.

  • How much does The Ranch cost?

    We accept Maryland Medicaid. There are no out of pocket expenses.

  • How long is the program?

    3-6 months, depending on your needs.

  • Are you close to public transportation?

    No. We have our own fleet of vehicles and access to other transportation services.

  • Do you have a women’s program?

    No.

  • Do you accept people under 18?

    No. We serve individuals over the age of 18 who identify as men.
